genevieve is the finance mod for color me fódlan. other zine experience of hers includes working on solitary solace, brigid pride, and slumbering princess. she is excited to join color me fódlan, and cannot wait to see how the project unfolds.
kara is the merch mod for color me fódlan. she has experience modding zines, the most recent one being garden of eden, as well as contributing art and merchandise alike to various fan-projects. the intricate line work and fairy tale-esque theming this project aspires to achieve is something she really admires. overall, she is very excited to bring this project to fruition.
soul is the organization mod for color me fódlan. she had experience modding several zines, including a ferdinand zine. she was inspired to join this project by her younger sister, who's a blooming artist in her own right. she hopes to be of use and bring contributors a smooth and fun creation period.
vetsa is the art mod for color me fódlan. she is a woman of few words.
moffnat is the head mod of color me fódlan. she has experience being the head mod the marianne zine and has contributed to others as a writer. this project was inspired by her workplace, where she spends time coloring with coworkers and clients as a way to pass the time and encourage therapeutic coping skills. she hopes that this project will be a great success!
below are some compare/contrast examples of what we hope to feature in our zine. all of these examples are taken from google (with sources linked, if found) and belong to the respective creators.
the above image is an example of what we are not looking for. there is a lack of detail work on the characters and the background is completely empty. background detail is important as we're looking for pieces where the entire page can be filled.
this one, on the other hand, is much better! not only is there wonderful detail on the characters, but there is a complex background to color and the details are not too small that they can't be colored.
here is another example of a piece that is inappropriate for our project. notice how the detail work is far too small to be colored by everyday art supplies. maybe someone with fancier supplies might have products small enough to make it work, but we want to create pieces around the assumption that everyone can use affordable fine-tip markers or pencils. also, the background work isn't specific about what is what; the shapes and setting are not clear.
this one, however, is a perfect blend of easily-colorable and detailed. each shape is perfectly defined and recognizable, while leaving little minimal space in the background so the entire page can be colored to the buyer's content.
all in all, the pieces should contain the following:
minimal negative spacevector-style lines in a variety of thicknessclean lineart (no sketches, no shading)recognizable, complete shapessuitable to be colored by basic fine-tip markers, colored pencils, or sharpened crayons
this is subject to change.

will there be merch?yes! this project will feature an expansive merch package.
can i apply if i'm a minor?no. this is a for-profit project, so all contributors must be over the age of 18.
how many artists are you accepting?we are looking for around 30-40 artists and 4 merch artists. the cover artist will be our art mod, vetsa.
how will contributors be compensated?on the application form, there is an optional question to answer about compensation. we will take the majority answer from this question and compensate our contributors that way. tldr; we will compensate either with cash only, cash + free book, or smaller cash + full bundle. it depends on what the contributors choose together.
what if we want to create more than one piece?you are more than welcome to; in fact, it is encouraged if you are someone who can create lineart quickly!
how many pages will there be for each character?there will be one page for every character. the four lords (dimitri, edelgard, claude, yuri), byleth and rhea will have two-page spreads each. there will also be pages for scenery (such as fhirdiad, derdriu, enbarr, the monastery, abyss, etc), the four saints, and one page for each house (which will feature all the characters from that respective house). we will also leave room for pages that the contributors want to create (such as all the lords having tea together or the battle of gronder, for instance).
how will the downloadable PDF work?will will have a downloadable PDF containing coloring pages in US letter sizing (for easy printing). each page will feature one ship from fe3h of the artist's choice. artists can opt to create an extra piece for the PDF; it is not required. there will only be one page per ship. sensual themes are allowed (such as kissing, etc), so long as the content remains appropriate for teens and up.
all artists for the PDF zine must have one piece in the main zine as well. our focus is to populate the main coloring book before the ship one!
one of the mods has me blocked (or i have blocked them), but i really want to apply. what should i do?please apply anyway! all of us mods are more than capable of being pleasant to those who may disagree with us about certain topics. we are all adults here. our goal is to create a quality coloring book for the fandom, and that will always be our priority.
